तर वडील हे कुटुंबाचे आधारस्तंभ असतात , ते आपल्या कुटुंबासाठी भरपूर त्याग करतात, काबाड कष्ट करतात , कुटुंबातील कोणत्याही सदस्याला कुठलाही त्रास नाही झाला पाहिजे याची पूर्ण खात्री आणि विश्वास ठेवतात. आपल्या मुलांना चांगली शिकवण , चांगली वर्तणूक ते शिकवतात , लहानांना मान आणि मोठ्यांना सन्मान दिला पाहिजे , हे तर आहेच अजून तुम्ही जगामध्ये कस राहायचं तुम्हाला काय करावे लागेल याची सुद्धा आठवण , जबाबदारीने करवून देतात सांगतात . वडिल आपल्या मुलांना जो त्यांना त्यांच्या जीवनामध्ये त्रास किंवा अडचणी आल्यात त्या नाही आल्या पाहिजे म्हणून त्यांना सगळी माहिती देतात , त्यांचे अनुभव सांगतात जेणेकरून त्यांना त्रास होणार नाही , असं नाही के ते आपल्या मुलांना संकटाला सामोरे जाऊ देत नाही तर ते त्यांना शिकवतात आणि सांगतात कि मी संकटांना कशापद्धतीने सामोरे गेलो होतो , हार नव्हती मानली किंवा हार पत्करायची नसते , प्रयत्न करत राहायचे यश नक्कीच मिळते. वडील जे आपल्या कुटुंबासाठी त्याग, त्रास , कष्ट , संकटे ह्या सगळ्यासाठी एकटा सामोरे जातो. तर हा एक असा दिवस आहे कि जो आपल्या कुटुंबासाठी किंवा आपल्या मुलांसाठी वडिलांचे असलेले प्रेम , त्यांची आपुलकी, आदर, त्यांनी दिलेली शिकवण आणि सगळ्यात महत्वाचं म्हणजे त्यांनी जीवनामध्ये केलेला त्याग याची आठवण करून देतो. वडील एक वेळेस उपाशी राहील पण कुटुंबाला व मुलांना कधीच उपाशी राहू देणार नाही हे असतात वडील , ते मुलांना सगळ्यात जास्त प्रेम करतात फक्त एवढाच आहे कि त्यांना ते दाखवता येत नाही किंवा मग ते दाखवत नाहीत . त्यांना रडू जरी आला तरी ते त्यांना दिसू देत नाही , 

                                         

ते मुलाना बोट धरून चालायला शिकवतात .  कुटुंबाचे आधारस्तंभ जे कि आपण त्यांना आपले हिरो , गुरु समजतो अशा  आपल्या वडिलांबद्दल आदर , प्रेम , जिव्हाळा , आपुलकी व्यक्त करण्यासाठी हा दिवस साजरा करायला पाहिजे . कारण आपण प्रत्येक दिवस साजरा करतो , जस कि  कुणाचा वाढदिवस , लग्नाचा वाढदिवस , मदर्स डे , चिल्ड्रेन डे, तर हा दिवस पण आपण साजरा करायलाच पाहिजे आणि करत पण आहेत . तुम्ही वडिलांना ह्या दिवशी शुभेच्छा देऊ शकता , त्यांना गिफ्ट देऊ शकता, आणि द्यायला पाहिजे कारण त्यांनी आपल्यासाठी इतकं केलं तर आपण एक दिवस त्यांच्यासाठी त्यांना देऊ शकत नाही का ? त्यांनी आपल्याला प्रत्येक वस्तू गिफ्ट म्हणून आपल्या आवडीची दिलीये तर आपण त्यांना ह्या दिवशी एक शुभेच्छा आणि एक गिफ्ट तर देऊच शकतो हो कि नाही तर मग चला साजरा करूया हा दिवस आपल्या वडिलांसाठी त्यांच्या प्रति आदर , प्रेम , त्यांनी केलेला त्याग याची आठवण राहण्यासाठी व ती  व्यक्त करण्यासाठी .
